If there is a rule for the maximum number of photos a photographer should include in a BLOG posting, I’m going to break it right now. When you see this weekend’s couple and their beautiful wedding day, you’ll understand why. I just can’t get enough, and I hope this little teaser leaves you wanting more too!
Sarah and Steve were blessed with a tremendous outpouring of love…. from the neighbors! They opened their hearts, their homes, their pools, their gardens, not to mention their wine & beer, to welcome the Bride and Groom and their entourages. While the Bride and her ladies were primping at the Bride’s house, the Groom and his boys were taking it easy across the street, in a neighbor’s pool, floating in inner tubes while contemplating life and what was about to happen that afternoon. One of the neighbors with prize winning gardens were hosts to the formal portraits and were so gracious and kind as we passed through multiple times.
Sarah and Steve’s ceremony and reception were held on the stunning grounds of CrossWinds Golf & Country Club. Sarah, who has been riding horses for 15 years, used to ride on the property before it was sold to the golf course. To make her wedding day even more meaningful, and to the surprise of her guests, Sarah mounted a waiting horse and gracefully rode during the processional until her father walked her down the aisle.
Sarah & Steve: It is truly an honor to have been selected to journey through the most intimate parts of your special day, and to capture the images you will one day show your children and grandchildren. Thank you for trusting me. It has been a joy to get to know you. Enjoy this teaser, enjoy your honeymoon, and I’ll be in touch again in mid-August. Love to you both, Heidi xoxo
