What a nice story! I think we are some kind of soulmates; I thought only Finns (or I) wear wool socks everywhere, even in bed. 
Socks are made by my (and my brother Juha’s of course) grandmum. Knitting is her hobby, and I’m also learning it. My socks don’t look so nice out, but maybe some day…
