As a teenager my mother (who had amazing skin) would drag me from one dermatologist to another, seeking to understand why I was breaking out and what could be done about it. She would even experiment with my diet, watching my skin for changes. As a teenager I was prescribed Tetracycline, and then as an adult in my early/mid twenties, Acutane. While I still get the occasional single-zit breakout, I’m now doing battle of another type: DRYNESS.

Every winter, beginning in mid December and lasting usually until April, it seems all the moisture in my skin evaporates. Every part of my body skin is dry, itchy, flaky and very uncomfortable. My hands look and feel gross and I can see little cut lines on the lines of my skin. ouch.

Last week I had casually posted my dry skin woes on Facebook, to which I got an unexpected reply! One of my Facebook friends who is also behind one of the amazing family sessions I did last year offered her help with a recommendation I try some of her favorites from the ARBONNE skin care line. A few days later  a little package arrived at my doorstep with 3 lovely goodies to try!!

I am so excited to begin this new week with a new skin routine!! I need to point out I am especially looking forward to trying the ARBONNE SEA SALT SCRUB which looks amazing – like nothing I have ever seen before. My skin needs some serious exfoliation!~

Typical me, I couldn’t pick just one album partner, so I picked 2: one who offers albums printed on luxurious Fine Art Paper, the other who features a Metal Cameo on the album cover.

Each album spread is lovingly designed especially for you, and a proof uploaded to an online gallery for viewing and tweeking.  Albums begin at $850 for 10 spreads/20 pages.
